About Woodstores
Based in Kidderminster, Worcestershire, we are a small family firm which came into being from wanting somewhere to store our own logs, and not finding anything that fitted the character of our house. I wanted serviceable AND attractive. And that is what I now believe we sell, attractive and long lasting Log Stores, with good customer services.
It is very much a family business, run by myself and my husband Andrew, with help from various family members. Even on occasion a few friends who turn up ready to paint a log store when we have so many on order we can’t make them fast enough.
We are very lucky to have friends who have a wood mill, Stan and Rosanne from Logs West Midlands. Their support was invaluable to starting up a business, and I have learned so much about the wood industry from them. It is lovely when we get a call saying “I’ve felled a Cherry today, and laid it by to season for you”. Andrew is also a wood artist, so has had some beautiful large lumps of wood that he has turned into beautiful pieces of art work. Our success at Woodstores has taken away time from his art, so I have to make sure he takes time off now and again to indulge his passion. At the moment he is making a table from Beech with a gorgeous pattern in it, 9 feet long and the shape makes me wish we had room for it!

Love the Huge log store you did, amazing! More like plans for a bungalow, I didn’t even know you could make them that big!

That one was only 8 feet long by 6 x 6, our next adventure is 15 feet long, I’ll be taking photos
